[nospaces] [attr="class","sbody"] [attr="class","ihead"] @iris 'S INFAMY FILE [attr="class","aname2"] what's public, what's not [attr="class","ipad"] Ex-Rocket member now in the care of Hoenn's rangers in an effort to improve her attitude towards Pokemon.[break] [break][break] PUBLIC [break][break] - Taken in the by League after the fall of Rocket, their kind treatment of her suggests she is a victim of sorts (collateral from one of Rocket's missions, perhaps). She now resides with the region's Rangers.
- A reluctance to battle and awkwardness around her single Pokemon lead most to assume she is a new trainer.
- Polite and well-disciplined, she seems more comfortable in the company of her elders, unsure of how to act around those her age.
- Almost always in the presence of a ranger. Perhaps the League are simply being cautious with her safety.
WHAT THE LEAGUE KNOWS[break][break] - Iris was taken by Rocket as a child, there has been no success tracing her parents. A psychiatrist consultation reveals she experienced severe emotional distress throughout her time with them. It is decided she will be given a second chance at life.
- Fearsome on the battlefield, only for the sheet ferocity of her Pokemon and the severity she handled them with. It took a number of trainers to take them down.
- A ruthless trainer, as revealed upon examination of her team. Her Pokemon were put down; it took a further few months before the League gave her a starter Pokemon.
- Trusted with the Rangers to be placed under strict surveillance. They are instructed to be patient and encouraging of positive character development. They are unsure of the course of action they will take if Iris shows no signs of growth.
WHAT ROCKET KNOWS[break][break] - One day a Rocket scientist returned from a mission with a child by his side. No one cared enough to question it, for she did not cause trouble nor interfere with his work. This scientist focused on working Pokemon towards their physical prime, and trained many to be used by grunts in battle.
- As soon as she was old enough she was sent out to work with the other grunts. Information further than the bare requirements was often withheld from her--she was not trusted with intel, but her strength and unsuspecting appearance was something often needed.
- Iris was arrested during the fall of Rocket, no need was found to delve any deeper than that. The scientist is presumed to be in jail or dead but, again, there was no concern to find out his fate.
PRIVATE[break][break] - Iris grew up around Pokemon beaten and worked to the bone. She would grow to assume this was normal, and talks with her 'father' only reinforced the belief that Pokemon are tools and tools alone.
- Has a remarkable knowledge when it comes to Pokemon and their strengths and weaknesses. Used this knowledge to train her own Pokemon.
- Weighed down by a pressure to constantly perform at her best. Her superiors were unforgivably strict, and her 'father' would often take his frustration out on her. Iris learned to mimic such behaviour towards her own Pokemon.
- Genuinely believes that her time at Rocket was good. With the organisation moving on without her, she feels without any sense of purpose, and hopes to find some sense of direction with the ranger.
- Extremely harsh on herself, always expecting some sort of backlash when she makes mistakes, however small.
- Incredibly conflicted as to where her loyalties lie. Her current way of dealing with this is to simply lie low with the League and hope her decision becomes clear to her in due time.
